My
Cancer Trek
aka
The Tokyo Roast

On 11/10/06, at age 59,  I found that I had       prostate cancer.
As the most common cancer in men, it kills 15% of those who get it.
My case, a most uncommon one, led me to Tokyo.
I hope my story can help others.

As some of you know, Mary Anne and I are doing some work relating to physicians level of emotional intelligence and how it affects successs and the risk of malpractice law suits.  We are basically studying their effectiveness in relating to patients and the resulting consequences.  We are developing articles and possibly a book relating to the subject.

We would like you to be a part of it.

A critical part of our work includes patient stories about their best and worst doctor experiences.  We would like to hear yours.

We have a WEB site for collecting those stories in the Tampa area as part of a Doctor of the Month award.  However, even if you are not in Tampa, we can use the site as a place to receive your story.  Go to www.doctorofthemonth.com.

Think about your experiences, bad and good, and please take 10 to 20 minutes and tell us your story.  We will only use initials for you and your doctor unless we have your permission to use your name.
