4/6/07 Dave finds his Muse
Dave is a local guy who I met through a friend. He calls me once in a while. The cancer thing gives us something in common. He called Thursday. On Tuesday he had shared that he was depressed. He was letting the ED thing get him down. He was beginning to suspect that he was permanently impotent. It had been a year since his surgery. He had tried all the ED aids but none of them had proven to be satisfactory. He couldn’t see his way clear to a satisfactory future with only a limp penis.
Thursday it had all changed. He had found a site on the web that gave instructions for the
Muse. This is the product that you apply with an applicator into the urethra at the tip of the penis. It deposits a chemical into the urethra and after it absorbs you hopefully develop an erection. When he had tried it before he had used the appliacator incorrectly. Following the instructions on the site he was able to use it correctly and ….it worked! He was elated, absolutely estatic. He said he couldn't even begin to explain how good it felt to hold a nearly full erection in his hand.
The important thing here is not the MUSE itself. Like all products it doesn't work for everybody. The big deal is the effect it had on Dave to feel that he could function again sexually. I am seeing this over and over with the men with whom I have contact. This is the 2000 pound gorilla in the room that many are afraid to talk about.
