My
Cancer Trek
aka
The Tokyo Roast

On 11/10/06, at age 59,  I found that I had       prostate cancer.
As the most common cancer in men, it kills 15% of those who get it.
My case, a most uncommon one, led me to Tokyo.
I hope my story can help others.

It’s in and it is good.  PSA is 0.1
.  This is a very good PSA following HIFU and a good indicator that there aren’t a bunch of cancer cells ravaging my body as I write this.

I am very thankful and am thinking a lot about the others I’ve talked to who have not been so lucky.

The urethra is still acting up.  I have had diminished strength of urine flow over the last several days and have a urinary tract infection.  We don’t know the cause of the flow problem but are going to wait until I have knocked out the infection and see the status then..

The urethra stuff has been tough, but in retrospect, if we have gotten ride of the cancer, it has all been worth it.
